SHOES

Another obsession of Colby's is shoes. (just like mommy) I think "shoes" was his third word he learned to say. He loves his shoes and will bring them to us to put on him even when we are just hanging out at home. He also loves to get in our closet and put on our shoes. Often times he comes clomping through the house wearing one of Jason's shoes and one of mine. Once, he was wearing one of Jason's flip flops and one of my heels. The problem comes in the morning when I'm trying to get out the door for work and can't find my other shoe!

Above, asking for help to put his shoe back on. These flops don't stay on very well. When he wears them out, we have "lost" them about a dozen times. At Home Depot, a lady chased Jason down to give Colby back his shoe. Jason told Colby he had to tell him if his shoe falls off. Five minutes latter, Colby shouts "SHOE!" Jason looks down from the cart to the floor, and there's the flop.

We won't let daddy know about this picture!

Even a kitchen bowl works as a shoe.

We have had so much rain this week that Jason had to get out his Croc Boot to work in the yard. Colby found daddy's boots in the garage and was so excited to try them on. We had to lift him into them.

Here is a video of him wearing daddy's boots.

Here's another video. Colby found a pair of my heels. He loved how the sound the heels made on the tile floor. Jason was noth thrilled that his son was dressing up in heels but I couldn't resist! It will make for a great black-mailing picture when he is a teenager

So sweet. Handley loves to walk around in our shoes too!
